Application Guidelines
- Complete a standard Tabor Adelaide Application form.

Your 3 referees need to include professional, work/volunteer and minister or church related person who is not a friend. - Please complete a 750 - 1,000 word personal statement that addresses the following questions (this replaces the 250-word personal statement requested on the application form):
Please type a half page for each question.
- What factors have led you to pursue a tertiary education in counselling with us?
- What factors have led you to choose Tabor Adelaide as your preferred training institution?
- Identify your strengths and weaknesses as you consider this course.
- What work options do you envisage after completing this course?
- What is your position on personal development/awareness for a counsellor?
- Complete the “Counselling Faculty Personal Information” page pro-forma and send it with your application and personal statement to Tabor Adelaide, together with the evidence requested.
- On receipt of your application material a student folder will be forwarded to the counselling faculty who will then arrange for an interview and contact your referees.
- Attend an intake interview to discuss your application (you will be contacted by Tabor to arrange this).
- If you are successful a Subject Selection Form will be completed at the Goodwood Campus and is then taken to Registry. At this point you will be able to organise your method of payment e.g. FEE –HELP or up front payment. It is at this stage that you are enrolled.
