Criminal History Checking
All students in Teacher Education must complete a criminal history screening and receive clearance before visiting any school for their first practicum.
To ensure the check is acceptable in all school sectors, students should complete the national criminal history record check as conducted by the CrimTrac Agency through the Department of Education and Children’s Services.
The appropriate application forms are available from Teacher Education once a student has been accepted into the program.
