TESOL FOUNDATIONS INTENSIVE


TESOL Foundations provides the practical knowledge and skills needed for ESL/EFL teaching. Participants will be introduced to the principles and practices of ESL/EFL teaching and learning for the Australian or overseas context. 

Teaching/Learning Schedule:

The subject provides students with the opportunity to engage in genuine flexible learning options with classroom-based lectures and workshops.

2 Intensive lecture dates:

February 4-5 & April 22-23

from 9:00-4:30

Students from outside South Australia have the opportunity to participate via virtual classroom environment. The subject can be studied in online only mode for those unable to attend the Intensives.

Intermed



 

Intermed is a not for profit organizationwhich runs an intensive 3 to 4 week Summer School. specifically designed as an Introduction to International Health and Development for Christian Health Care Professionals who are preparing to work in less developed/ less resourced contexts in the world, or who are on leave from such work.The course provides knowledge, understanding and skills to enhance the ability to participate effectively in health and development programs. Immediately following the core 3-week course, a more practically orientated optional 4th week is highly recommended. An overseas practicum is also offered, usually mid-year, which provides an opportunity to apply the course knowledge and skills.The course is held at Tabor Adelaide with some practical components at other locations in Adelaide. Applications are invited from any health care professional and are considered from final year health professional students who are going overseas in the same year as the course. Those without health qualifications may be accepted, provided they can demonstrate a significant involvement in health work.
