Youth Work
Why a degree in youth work?
The most important reason is that Australian young people need all the help and support they can get from people who are willing to listen deeply to their stories and act and advocate skillfully on their behalf. Secondly, churches, schools and community services groups are crying out for skilled workers who can be trusted to work ethically and professionally with the young people in their care. Thirdly, everyday people who aspire to a vocation in youth work need a training program that takes the academic, professional and spiritual formation process seriously and creates pathways into employment in the youth sector.
